1. About these terms
By using Today’s Prayers (the “Service”) — including this website, the WhatsApp delivery, and any related interface — you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Service.
2. Submitting a prayer
You can submit prayers anonymously or with a name. By submitting a prayer, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to review, lightly edit for clarity, display, and deliver the prayer to other users via the website or WhatsApp.
You are responsible for what you submit. Don’t submit content that:
- contains personal information about a third party without their consent;
- contains hateful, abusive, harassing, or threatening language;
- promotes commercial products, services, or scams;
- is unlawful in any jurisdiction;
- violates someone else’s rights, including intellectual property rights.
3. Moderation
Every submission is reviewed before it is delivered or published. Reviews use a combination of automated checks and human judgement. We may approve, reject, edit lightly for clarity, or archive a submission at our discretion. We aim to keep the space kind and meaningful — we will not change the meaning of what you wrote without your consent.
4. WhatsApp delivery
If you subscribe to receive prayers via WhatsApp, you agree to receive periodic messages from our service number. We use Twilio to deliver these messages and rates from your carrier may apply. You can stop messages any time by replying STOP. We will store your phone number for the purpose of delivering the service; we do not sell or share it.
5. Donations
Donations are processed by Stripe (or, for users in Nigeria, by direct bank transfer). We do not see or store your card details. Donations are not tax-deductible unless stated otherwise. Recurring donations can be cancelled any time via the link in your Stripe receipt or by emailing us.
6. Privacy
See our
privacy page for how we handle your data — what we collect, how we use it, and how to ask for it to be removed.
7. Disclaimer
The Service is provided “as is.” We don’t make claims about the spiritual or healing efficacy of any prayer. The Service is not a substitute for professional medical, legal, or mental-health advice.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Today’s Prayers and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. If we are found liable, our total liability is limited to any donation you have made in the past 12 months.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms occasionally. The “Last updated” date above reflects the most recent change. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.
